it was not a direct bolt in operation. First the Quaife listed for the R200 is designed for the older open R200 diffs not the VLSD found in the Z32. The bolt holes for the ring gear are set up for 11 or 12mm bolts while the Z32 has 13mm. The long stub axle out of the VLSD will also not work. I had to find another short axle, shorten it a little more and cut a new C clip groove. Once installed the Quaife works just like advertised. Nice seamless traction with no ratchet noise or frequent oil changes. The Tomei Trax and the Nismo were the other options I considered. Z1 has the Nismo GT 1.5 for $848.
